Insulation 70 mm
The clickFIX thermo® attic stairs contain 70 mm thick polyurethane insulation in the compact 76 mm hatch. Polyurethane has the best insulation value and quality on the market. This is how the DOLLE attic stairs achieve the highest insulation value on the market. The U-value is historically low at 0.38 W/m2 *K. At DOLLE we test our insulation capacity and we don't just calculate it. Our stairs have been tested on the entire hatch as a complete component. The 76 mm thick hatch of the DOLLE clickFIX® efficiently keeps the heat in the living area and is also CPL-coated. With this particularly robust laminate, the hatch is considerably more wear-resistant, scratch- and impact-resistant than other surfaces. Part of the secret is in the top layer, which consists of melamine resin. It is resistant to light scratches and normal dirt, is solvent and heat resistant, smudge resistant and easy to clean. The hatch retains its bright white color for a long time because CPL surfaces are colorfast and lightfast. The hatch fits discreetly into the ceiling and also remains in pristine condition.
The new patented articulated lever is another innovation. It allows tool-less installation. The lever is only put on the bolt plate, turned over and can then no longer release. The ladder part can be adjusted up to 4 cm in height with the adjusting screws on the stud plate. Thus, a ladder section that is not shortened in height can be leveled comfortably and easily. With a height of 24 cm, the casing offers better possibilities for installation in more insulated ceilings. For example, clickFIX® thermo also in suspended ceilings be built-in. Deep steps have been incorporated in the clickFIX® thermo for more comfort and safety. With an entry depth of 8.3 cm, they offer a larger surface area.
The DOLLE clickFIX® thermo can be easily installed by one person thanks to its low weight and the patented mounting technology with click modules: Align the housing, screw on, hook in the hatch cover and ladder section and adjust it to the height of the room, that's it. The circumferential double seals and the additional corner seals significantly reduce the risk of condensation and effectively protect against possible mold growth. The supplied Twin-Active foil as a ceiling connection tape, together with insulation, ensures an airtight, thermally insulated connection of the stairs to the ceiling construction.
